Independent Electrolux appliance repairs

Kitchen appliance repair enquiries, subject to the exact model, fault and parts availability. Tell us the exact model so we can confirm whether we accept the job and prepare for the visit.

Help us identify your appliance

Include the product number (PNC), model and serial number from the label, if safely visible. Do not move a heavy appliance or remove panels to find a label.

What we check

We assess the reported symptom, inspect the appliance and explain the available repair options. A fault code is useful information but does not, by itself, prove that a particular part has failed.

Repair or replace?

The decision depends on the fault, appliance condition, parts availability and likely cost. We discuss the practical options once the appliance has been inspected.

A Brassett is an independent repair business. This page does not claim manufacturer authorisation. American side-by-side fridge-freezers and compressor changes are excluded.

Identify your exact model

A brand name is only the starting point. Read the full model and serial number from a safely accessible label. An older appliance can have a similar name to a newer range.

Preparing the right enquiry

The door will not release

Tell us whether the cycle has finished, the display is still active and water remains visible. Those details distinguish an interrupted programme from a door-release complaint. Do not prise the handle or attempt to defeat the interlock.

Compare the pattern: the display is dark

A blank control panel should be described separately from a programme that will not start. Note whether any indicator or sound remains and whether a household protective device has operated. Do not remove the top, open a socket or repeatedly reset a tripping circuit.
